Omiya, where the Tokyo Olympics Basketball Games will be held, invites you to the nostalgic Omiya of old, including the Hikawa Shrine.

The COVID-19 is still shaking the world, and the Tokyo Olympics are scheduled to be held this year.

Saitama City, where the Tokyo Olympics Basketball Games will be held, is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its merger this year.

Saitama City used to be divided into four cities, "Urawa City," "Omiya City," "Yono City," and "Iwatsuki City," but merged 20 years ago to become a large ordinance city consisting of 10 wards, "Omiya Ward," "Urawa Ward," "Chuo Ward," "Minami Ward," "Midori Ward," "Kita Ward," "Sakura Ward," "Nishi Ward," and "Iwatsuki Ward.

In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of Saitama City, each ward has made a promotional video.

The Saitama Super Arena in Omiya Ward will host the Tokyo Olympics basketball Games, and Omiya is home to one of the most famous shrines in Japan, the Hikawa Shrine.

Omiya Ward has created a video that takes you back in time with nostalgic photos.

Due to the COVID-19, the Tokyo Olympics Games may not be able to invite spectators from around the world, so I invite you to the nostalgic world of Omiya (YouTube).
